The Maine-China Business Center
Some logo creations for Fox Intercultural Service's new Maine-China Business Center. The second one is the one that was chosen, but I liked the first a lot as well, so I thought I'd post both here...
Devon Wade is a designer, writer and editor who has a passion for logo perfection and an almost frightening love of attacking a block of text with a red pen.
During her freshman year at Clemson University in South Carolina, Devon met her mentor: a young English professor who convinced her she had a knack for writing, and a fantastic family tree to write about. He persuaded her to pursue her dream of living in New York City.
In the years following her relocation, Devon graduated with honors from New School University with a BA in Creative Writing and has worked for CBS Sports, CBS News, 3 Arts Talent Management, W Magazine, and most recently Maloney & Fox, a downtown Manhattan marketing and public relations firm.
At Maloney & Fox Devon was given the opportunity to return to school and earn a certification in Digital and Graphic Design from NYU, making her the agency's solo creative director. She is now pursuing her Master's at NYU in Graphic Communications Management.
Devon currently lives in Brooklyn with a gentleman named Drew and a black lab called Mabel.
